Several Katten attorneys will participate in the firm-sponsored 100 Women in Finance Senior Practitioner Virtual Meeting, "Board Service 2020 and Beyond, Pivoting to a New Normal," at 11:30 a.m. (ET) on Tuesday, October 13. Participants will include Investment Management and Funds co-chair Wendy Cohen, Corporate partner Farzad Damania, Financial Markets and Funds special counsel Mark Goldstein, and Insurance and Risk Management partner and special counsel Michael Verde. Presenters will shed light on the realities of board membership, especially in 2020, including questions such as:

  • How are board members grappling with the vital issues like ESG, D&O insurance, diversity and basic corporate governance?
  • How are board operations affected by the worldwide pandemic?

The program will share insights from the perspectives of seasoned corporate board members spanning Large Cap, Small Cap, PE-backed and non-US boards, as well as people responsible for placing directors on PE-backed and corporate boards, as well as leading legal minds.
