About Victoria van Kralingen

Victoria van Kralingen is a banking and finance lawyer located in London. She has banking and finance experience in the United Kingdom, Africa, the Caribbean and the Channel Islands with a particular focus on leveraged finance, ABL and commercial real estate finance.

Getting the job done whatever the complexity

Victoria has experience representing banks, alternative investment firms and borrowers across a variety of industries and jurisdictions. She is able to negotiate both from the perspective of a lender and a borrower. Consequently, she is able to get the deal done no matter what the complexity of the transaction. When issues arise about taking security or collateral, regulatory regimes or financing structures, she understands the risks and how to mitigate them.

She has handled transactions in Kenya, the Caribbean, the Channel Islands, Mauritius and Australia as well as the United States and UK. In her real estate finance practice, her experience in leveraged finance assists in understanding the requirements of a hospitality or serviced apartment financing as well as more traditional real estate finance transactions.

Prior to joining Katten, Victoria worked in house at FirstRand Bank Limited (London Branch).
