Managing partner of Katten's Los Angeles office and chair of the Entertainment and Media Litigation practice Zia Modabber was named among Billboard Magazine's top music attorneys for 2021, a recognition that distinguishes him as one of the best legal minds in the music industry.
With decades of experience in the music and entertainment industry, Zia has represented major recording artists and companies, including Michael Jackson's Estate, Trent Reznor, Celine Dion, Usher, André 3000, Lil Nas X, Live Nation and The Recording Academy. He is known for his ability to address his clients' legal issues, as well as support their long-term business and artistic goals.
Over the past year in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Zia has helped his clients with challenges they have faced on tour, as they try to create a live experience for their audiences.
