(LOS ANGELES) Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP announced today that Glen K. Lim joined the firm's Commercial Finance group as a partner in its Los Angeles office.
Lim focuses on the representation of banks and other financial institutions as lenders and strategic investors, and buyout funds and corporations as borrowers, in connection with domestic and international financings. This includes financings of mergers and acquisitions, debtor-in-possession and exit financings, first and second lien financings, and working capital and asset-based financings.
"The addition of Glen to our team in Los Angeles will further enhance our outstanding, well-respected Commercial Finance group nationally," said Katten Chairman Roger P. Furey.
Lim, formerly with Proskauer, has successfully represented a cross-section of leading global alternative asset managers, investment management firms, private equity firms and specialty finance companies in connection with a variety of acquisition and commercial financing deals.
"Glen's experience handling high-level commercial finance transactions complements our West Coast team and will greatly support our clients throughout all facets of a deal," said Michael A. Jacobson, head of Katten's Commercial Finance practice.
Lim will work directly with Jan H. Cate and Kristopher J. Ring, Commercial Finance partners in Los Angeles.
