The Sports Business Journal has recognized Sports and Sports Facilities partner Daniel Render with its "Forty Under 40" award for the class of 2023.

Based in Los Angeles-Century City, Daniel represents a range of clients in professional sports, including the National Basketball Association, National Football League, National Hockey League, Major League Soccer and Major League Baseball teams, arenas and stadiums, investors, and sponsors in their significant transactional and governance matters.

Daniel was instrumental in negotiating the naming rights for the Los Angeles Clippers' future arena and the sale of the Utah Jazz. He has also negotiated several recent investments by private investment funds into NBA teams. He previously was recognized by Law360 on its 2022 "Rising Stars" list and by the Sports Business Journal as one of its "Power Players."

The "Forty Under 40 Awards" is an annual celebration of the best young talent in sports business. Honorees include league commissioners and officers, team presidents and senior executives, top media executives, brand-side marketers and the heads of the industry's top agencies.

The magazine announced the recognition on April 10 and will feature Daniel and other honorees in its June 26 issue.
