Karen Artz Ash to be Honored at 2024 VOLS Annual Gala for Multiple Tenures

Intellectual Property Partner and Co-Chair of Katten's Trademark/Copyright/Privacy group Karen Artz Ash will be recognized as an individual honoree by the Volunteers of Legal Service (VOLS) for her five tenures as Board Chair along with her tenure of over 20 years on the organization's Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

The awards will be presented during the VOLS "New York, Together" 2024 Gala on April 16. This reception will celebrate the group's 40th birthday and raise critical funds that will help VOLS continue to offer its pro bono program and provide free civil legal services to low-income New Yorkers with limited resources. Katten is sponsoring this year's event as a Partner, and Real Estate Associate Asia Archey Riddick, who is a member of VOLS' Pro Bono Advocates Council, is serving as an event co-chair alongside Karen's husband David Ash, Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel of Sam Ash Music Corporation, who has provided attorney support services to VOLS.

As the corporate honoree, Wells Fargo Bank will also be awarded during the gala.
