A Katten team led by Corporate Partners Mark Solomon, Ethan Post and Peter Bogdanow, along with Associate Enzo Hernandez, represented Dallas-based private investment firm Highlander Partners (Highlander) and its luxury Italian linens and home lifestyle brand SFERRA Fine Linens (SFERRA) in its acquisition of Antica Farmacista, a Seattle-based luxury home and body fragrance brand.

The acquisition supports Highlander's focus on the Italian luxury branded business space, further enhancing its home offerings to include fragrance products for discerning customers. Antica Farmacista operations will continue to be conducted from Seattle while its employees will join the SFERRA team. Highlander President and Chief Executive Officer and SFERRA Chair Jeff Hull stated, "We will continue to grow our [luxury] offerings and reach under the SFERRA, Pratesi and Antica Farmacista brands and will continue to implement a selective 'buy-and-build' investment approach through complementary M&A efforts in the luxury home goods category."

Katten's multidisciplinary team on this acquisition included Corporate Partner William Rivers and Associates Kelsey McKeag and Yaesul Park; Transactional Tax Planning Partner Todd Hatcher and Associate Jeffrey Ng; Intellectual Property Partner Sean Wooden and Associate Cynthia Martens; Private Credit Counsel Connie Fratianni; and Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate Peter Dalmasy.
