A transatlantic Katten Restructuring team, led by Partner and Head of European Restructuring James Davison, Counsel Victoria Procter and Associate Lydia Demnitz-King from our London office, advised the Radley Group (Radley) and FTI Consulting (as administrators) on the sale of Radley's global brand and related intellectual property assets to an affiliate of Gordon Brothers, a global investment firm. Radley, an iconic British label for luxury handbags and accessories, has expanded internationally and gained recognition for its iconic designs and quality craftsmanship.

In coordination with Partner and Global Restructuring Co-Chair Cindi Giglio, who led the US elements of the transaction alongside Partner Allison Yager, and with collaboration from attorneys across our Corporate, Intellectual Property, Privacy, Data and Cybersecurity, Employment Litigation and Counseling, Real Estate and Transactional Tax Planning practices, including Partners Ilana Lubin, Oliver Williams, Nathan Smith, Christopher Hitchins (London Managing Partner), Charlotte Sallabank and Gavin Vollans, Associates Anita Hodea and Tanaz Nowrouzzadeh, and Trainee Georgia Griesbaum, Katten successfully guided the sale. Gordon Brothers aims to enhance Radley’s global footprint, particularly in markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Asia.

"Radley is a well-loved British heritage brand, which we hope to see thrive under Gordon Brothers' ownership, as many other global brands have done," said James. "It has been a pleasure working with the exceptional teams at Radley, FTI Consulting and Gordon Brothers in order to deliver an outcome which preserves the Radley brand for future generations."
