The Deal featured news that Katten promoted 16 attorneys to partner, including two Mergers and Acquisitions attorneys, a Capital Markets attorney and four attorneys who focus on Private Credit.

Those elevated to partner on August 1 include:

  • Joshua A. Feiger, a Chicago-based M&A and Private Equity partner who advised Agave Loco LLC, the owner of RumChata, on its sale to E. & J. Gallo Winery, and Fitness Cubed Inc. on its sale to Gridiron Capital LLC. The Deal also noted that Feiger has advised Convergint Technologies LLC, a portfolio company of Ares Management Corp., Equity Group Investments LLC­­—­S­am Zell's investment firm—a­nd Pfingsten Partners LLC on mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and investments.
  • Ben Griffith, a Chicago-based attorney who focuses on Health Care M&A. The Deal cited numerous deals for physician practice management platforms and noted that he advised The Urology Group on the formation of Solaris Health, a private equity-backed physician practice management platform, with Lee Equity Partners, a New York private equity sponsor.
  • Alyse A. Sagalchik, a Chicago-based Capital Markets attorney.

The Deal also noted the elevation of three Private Credit attorneys in Chicago: Joshua B. Goldstein, Anne K. Rolwes, and Jaime T. Willis; plus Los Angeles-based Daniel C. Tola.
