He has extensive experience preparing and filing pleadings, dispositive motions, and briefs in both federal and state courts. Alexander builds high-level strategy around realistic goals and directs each day-to-day task toward advancing that strategy. 

In law school, he served as a legal writing fellow, assisting as a student instructor in the legal research and writing program, and was on the editorial board of the Virginia Journal of International Law.
