Managing Intellectual Property (Managing IP) revealed its 2025 ranked attorneys and practices, naming several Intellectual Property (IP) attorneys in Katten's Chicago and New York offices, as well as Katten among firms that "dominated their respective markets" in New York and Illinois.
This year's "Trade Mark Stars" include Partners Karen Artz Ash, also honored among the Top 250 Women in IP 2025, and Floyd Mandell, co-chairs of our Trademark/Copyright/Privacy Group; Kristin Achterhof, co-chair of our Advertising and Brand Litigation Group; and Bret Danow. Additionally, Katten was named a "Highly Recommended" firm in the areas of trademark prosecution in New York and trademark litigation in Illinois. The 2025 "Patent Stars" include Partners Deepro Mukerjee, chair of our global Intellectual Property Department, and Lance Soderstrom and Brian Sodikoff, Patent Litigation co-chairs.
