D Magazine recently announced the honorees on this year's "Best Lawyers Under 40" list. Recognized as being among the city's "up-and-coming attorneys," the list features three Katten Litigation partners, Ryan Meyer, Rachel Riley and Ted Huffman. D Magazine compiles a list of the best lawyers under 40 in Texas through nominations from other lawyers who have personally witnessed their work.
Ryan's white-collar defense practice is focused on defending companies and executives in government investigations, civil enforcement actions, and criminal proceedings typically involving allegations of securities fraud and health care fraud. He joined Katten in 2018 and was promoted to partner in 2021.
Rachel's practice focuses on white-collar criminal defense and regulatory enforcement matters, particularly in matters involving health care fraud, securities fraud, public corruption, and various other economic crimes. She joined Katten in 2018 and was promoted to partner in 2022.
Ted joined Katten as a partner in 2023. His practice is focused on high-stakes business disputes and financial services litigation, including matters involving breaches of contract, securities law, corporate fraud, anticompetitive conduct, real property disputes, intellectual property rights, government enforcement actions and class action proceedings.
