Agave Loco LLC and Sazerac Co. Inc., parties in a trademark infringement suit, agreed to a voluntary dismissal of the action, which an Illinois federal judge approved. Agave Loco accused fellow liquor maker Sazerac Co. of infringing Agave’s “Rumchata” and “Chata” trademarks for cream-based rum beverages. Intellectual Property attorneys Floyd Mandell, Carolyn Passen, Julia Kasper and Thomas Maas represented Agave Loco in the matter.
